It Is On Leon Edwards' Term to Decide The Location of The Fight With Kamaru Usman

UFC president Dana White isn’t usually keen on the idea of a stadium show, but admits he sees a great opportunity in United Kingdom because Edwards is the champion. The Birmingham, England-born man will do everything in his power to make sure this happens.

“It’s in Wembley, bro,” Edwards said in an interview with Troopz TV. “We’re going back to the sites. I’m not going over (to America) now. I did my job. I went to over to Usman’s backyard and took it off him, so now he has to come to my backyard. I’m not going there again. Now on my terms. He has to come.”

Edwards expects the rubber fight to take place in March – the usual month for the UFC to visit the UK. So far, the champions have heard of two possible locations.

“They said early next year, March,” Edwards said. “Here in England early next year – the stadium show. I think they’ll come to Wembley because it can be cold in March. It could be Cardiff (in Wales).”
